Vikki-Lee Dampier

Company: Dimensions UK

Job title: Operations Director

Specialism: Learning Disabilities

My name is Vikki Dampier and I am the Operations Director for Dimensions (UK) Ltd covering the West Dorset area.

I began my career in Health and Social care 11 years ago, initially becoming interested in the sector when my son was diagnosed with Autism. Prior to Health and social care my career had been in sales for the Holiday park industry.

My work over the last 11 years has been focused on supporting adults with learning disabilities and/or autism to live in their own homes. I have a particular specialism in supporting adults with complex health needs and behaviours of distress, including those that may need delegated nursing tasks or physical interventions.

I am passionate about people having truly person centred support, placing people at the centre of a collaborative circle of support that includes anyone they wish to be involved! The West Dorset area was recently rated Outstanding by CQC in 4 domains, something I am extremely proud of.

Our sector is facing difficult times, and so working together and supporting each other is more important than ever. Together we are stronger and our voices louder.
